Magic Schaufenster at EuroCIS 2016

The company Gesture Powered GmbH, which researches and develops in the area of gesture control, presented on the fair at Düsselsorf the latest developments with its brand “Magic Schaufenster”. Digital shopping is the future! In response of the retail industry in the superiority of the online shops more and more innovative solutions of personalized and interactive shopping are offered.

“Virtual shopping – whether in store or in front of the showcase – involves the customer and also prospective buyers” Mesut Yilmaz says. With the brand “Magic Schaufenster” his company has already successfully launched developments in gesture controlled programs.

The Gesture Powered GmbH was represented with its innovative Digital Signage and Augmented Reality Marketing at the Integrated Systems Europe 2016 in Amsterdam from 9.-12. February.

The new technology eliminates the need for consumers to download any apps in order to experience augmented reality at advertiser’s location.

“There’s no need for consumers to download any apps. More importantly, for advertisers, there’s no need to promote the very possibility of augmented reality experience, essentially creating ads for ads”, — says Mr. Yilmaz, — “You just plug the stand in, and it works to drive customers your way”.

Gesture Powered, GmbH, known for its promotional applications, has been actively developing gesture recognition and augmented reality technology in the recent years. The result of this work is a stationary device that can be used with off-the-shelf or custom software to create a new advertising medium and attract more customers.

The Gesture Powered GmbH was represented with its innovative Brand Magic Schaufenster at the CeBIT in Hanover from 16 to 20 March 2015. This start-up company has already achieved initial successes in the market of virtual shopping. Of particular interest were the own developments of the company in the field of gesture controlled shopping like the virtual dress room and the virtual promotion game.

As a subsequent step, the sales and distribution network is expanding to open up new sales markets. Initial talks with foreign distributors in Austria and in Switzerland have already been held and led to first promising contacts. Even now it is clear that the products of the Gesture Powered GmbH will successfully establish in Europe.

According to managing director Mesut Yilmaz the target is to make gesture control as standard for retailers and in a growing numbers of industry fields.

Also, the company made innovative advancements of its already existing product, the “virtual fitting”: The customer has virtual mirrors and can try a piece of closing in an accurately fitting and true-to-life way. With the “Magic Mirror”, the shop-window is extended with a living and interactive sales area. Of course, it is also possible to place Magic Mirror at any other spot in the store.
